Próximamente...mi pequeño homenaje

Tenía ya muchas ganas de poder contaros lo que ha sido y en que ha derivado la colección cápsula que diseñé este año.

Con el título de Hommage, se trata de una colección prêt-à-porter para otoño/invierno compuesta por un total de 12 looks.

“Hommage” es un canto al espíritu revolucionario, innovador y transgresor del movimiento romántico entendido como una corriente política, filosófica, literaria y artística que marcó un antes y un después en la historia de la humanidad.

Oposición al régimen impuesto y al clasicismo, amor a la naturaleza y a la belleza sin adornos, miras al futuro, prioridad otorgada a los sentimientos, lucha, ambición por la igualdad y, sobre todo, libertad , son los principales elementos de este movimiento que han sido llevados al terreno de la moda y plasmados en esta colección.

Es por lo tanto esta, una colección que vuelve la mirada al romanticismo, pero no en lo relacionado con la moda imperante en ese momento, sino en su ámbito más reflexivo a nivel histórico y social.

La colección hace un guiño especial al papel de la mujer dentro de este movimiento que estuvo presente desde finales del siglo XVIII hasta bien entrado la primera mitad del XIX.

Fueron muchas las mujeres de la época que aportaron su granito de arena con una concepción diferente de sus propias vidas y del mundo que las rodeaba. Ejemplos como las hermanas Brontë a las cuales se considera incluso como las primeras feministas de la historia son recordadas y aplaudidas en este pequeño homenaje. Todas y cada una de ellas son para mí heroínas que fueron allanando el terreno a las que vendrían después.

I felt like tell you what it was and has derived the capsule collection I designed this year.

Under the title "Hommage", it is a prêt-à-porter fall / winter collection composed of a total of 12 looks.

"Hommage" is an ode to the revolutionary, innovative and transgressive spirit of the Romantic movement treated as a  political, philosophical, literary and artistic current that marked a before and after in the history of humanity.

Opposition to the imposed regime and classicism, love of nature and unadorned beauty, looking ahead, priority given to the feelings, fight, ambition for equality and, above all, freedom, are the main elements of this movement which have been brought to the field of fashion and reflected in this collection.

It is therefore, a collection that takes a look at romance, but not in relation to the prevailing fashion at the time, but in its more thoughtful, historical and social level.

The collection makes a special gesture to the role of women within this movement that was present from the late eighteenth century until well into the early nineteenth century.

There were many women of the time who did their bit with a different conception of their own lives and the world around them. Examples like the Bronte sisters, which are even considered as the first feminists in history are remembered and applauded at this small tribute. Each and every one of them are for me heroines who were paving the way for those would follow.
