Como os avanzaba el otro día aquí, la colección cápsula que tuve que diseñar este año rendía un pequeño tributo a la mujer y al cambio que se produjo durante la época del Romanticismo.
Como punto
de partida de la misma, se han tomado referencias bibliográficas dentro del
mundo de la literatura y el arte pertenecientes al periodo romántico europeo.
Entre estas
referencias tienen mención especial todos aquellos artistas que supieron ver el
momento de cambio que acaeció a finales del siglo XVIII y bien entrado el XIX y
lo afrontaron con un espíritu innovador y revolucionario en mayor o menor
medida.
Todos ellos,
pintores como Delacroix, Goya, Friedrich
o Turner, escultores como Rodin o
escritoras como las hermanas Brontë, representan aquellos valores trasladados a las prendas y recogidos en la
colección tales como libertad, rebeldía,
humanismo, sueños, amor, naturaleza, oposición…
Las
principales fuentes de inspiración han
sido extraídas de la pintura, por ser éste un arte plenamente libre en el que
el autor plasma sus sentimientos a través de la pincelada y el color. Se trata
de una pintura que es consecuencia de una nueva sensibilidad y forma de ver la
sociedad donde se aspira a nuevas formas de expresión una vez liberadas las
estructuras sociales. De esta manera, en el romanticismo, adquirieron gran
importancia lo subjetivo y los sentimientos. El arte romántico surge a
consecuencia del giro y del cambio.
Hoy os enseño los bocetos de algunos looks que recogen la idea de prendas amplias, que no someten la figura pero la resaltan, que no muestran opresión sino libertad de movimiento y que muestran a una mujer que no necesita mostrar su feminidad con el talle a la cintura y que se atreve con pequeños detalles masculinos.

As I told you the other day here, the capsule collection I had to design this year paid a small tribute to the woman and the change that occurred during the era of Romanticism.
As a starting point, references have been taken from the world of literature and art during the European Romantic period.
Among these references have special mention all those artists who were able to see the change which happened and faced it with an innovative and revolutionary spirit in varying degrees.
All of them, painters such as Delacroix, Goya, Friedrich or Turner, sculptors like Rodin and writers like the Brontes, represent the values transferred to the clothes and collected in the collection such as freedom, rebellion, humanism, dreams, love, nature, opposition ...
The main sources of inspiration are drawn from the paint, as this is a totally free art in which the author expresses his feelings through brushwork and color. This is a painting that is a result of a new sensibility and outlook on society that aspires to new forms of expression once social structures have been released. Thus, in Romanticism, subjective and feelings became very important. Romantic art arises as a result of the turnaround and change.
Today I show you sketches of some looks that reflect the idea of loose clothing, which do not submit the figure but highlight it, showing no oppression but freedom of movement and to show a woman that does not need to show her femininity accentuating the waist and dares with small male details.
